Luxury Lounge Website & Custom CMS
A complete website and bespoke admin system for a shisha lounge and café, designed around a single constraint: the owners needed to run it themselves, daily, without a developer.
Rather than bolt on an off-the-shelf CMS, I built a purpose-made admin covering 26 screens menu items with categories, subcategories, per-measure pricing, UK statutory allergen labelling and dietary tags; events; a gallery with an image library that detects duplicates; testimonials; and editable site copy and photography. Every change publishes to the live site instantly through on-demand revalidation.
The public site is statically generated and makes zero API calls per page view, so it stays fast and cheap under heavy traffic. It scores 100 for accessibility and SEO in Lighthouse with zero axe-core violations.
Security was built in rather than retrofitted: HMAC-signed sessions verified at the edge, bcrypt password hashing, CSRF origin checks and rate limiting.
